I have been looking through different images from the internet to find interpretations of cat face painting and most of it is children's face painting.

This is my first attempt at painting myself as a cat. I started with a base colour, and then using a fine artist brush I used various strokes of colour to create a fur like texture. Using white brings the muzzle forward and part of the cats face is kept darker to create a shadow therefore taking the sides of the face back, elongating the result.





I have also been practising on Lily as I am going top use her in my final piece.
